DESCRIPTION:Every year\, I spend time creating and maintaining pathways along the Hydro Corridor\, from The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre to Alta Vista Road\, in support of charity. \nThis year marks Year 5\, and the 2026 campaign is proudly titled: \nCuts 4 Cardiac Care – in support of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation\nOver the years\, some have kindly offered to pay me\, but I have never accepted payment for this work. It has always been done voluntarily\, with the goal of supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. Once again\, I invite you to pay it forward with a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. The Heart Institute has given my family the gift of time\, and supporting it is deeply personal and meaningful to me. If you have enjoyed the pathways\, the beautification\, or simply the spirit behind this effort\, I hope you will consider making a donation in any amount. While time has passed\, his presence continues to shape who we are\, how we love\, and the way we move through the world. \nHe was someone who led with quiet strength\, generosity\, and unwavering integrity. Whether through his work\, his friendships\, or his devotion to family\, he left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He believed deeply in helping others\, showing up when it mattered most\, and encouraging his children to build a life rooted in purpose. \nIn honour of his 5-year anniversary\, we are coming together not only to remember him\, but to continue the work and values he stood for. \nThe Event\nThis special evening is both a tribute and a celebration of his life. Through art\, community\, and shared stories\, we will gather to reflect on his legacy and the impact he continues to have through all of us. \nThe event will feature: \n\nCurated art\nMeaningful storytelling and reflections\nA warm\, welcoming space to connect and remember\nFood and refreshments\n\nMore than anything\, this evening is about carrying his spirit forward together. \nThe Cause\nIn his honour\, we established the Tedesco Foundation\, a charity event focused on education and collective healing.
