Association d’anciens patients

Through donations from our community, the Heart Institute Foundation provides funding to the  Ottawa Heart Institute Patient Alumni and works along side them in their mission to provide opportunities for current and former patients to stay involved with the Heart Institute. The Alumni are dedicated to sharing information about the Heart Institute, cardiovascular medicine, heart disease, and healthy living.

They offer a lecture series, awards, a newsletter, and more, including an online community, on-site programs for current patients, and “Meet the Expert” events that bring patients together with medical staff and experts on specific topics. All patients, upon discharge, automatically become members of the Patient Alumni.
