Il participe activement aux activit\u00e9s de sa communaut\u00e9 depuis 30\u00a0ans. Il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 recueillir des fonds pour l\u2019Institut de cardiologie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa en 2017 apr\u00e8s avoir re\u00e7u un diagnostic de deux an\u00e9vrismes aortiques. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 soign\u00e9 par le D<sup>r<\/sup>\u00a0Paul\u00a0Hendry et l\u2019\u00e9quipe de la Clinique de l\u2019aorte thoracique. Son exp\u00e9rience directe comme patient l\u2019a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019impliquer dans un lieu o\u00f9 il avait tant re\u00e7u. Il s\u2019est d\u2019abord engag\u00e9 dans le comit\u00e9 pour le tournoi de golf Fuller\u00a0Keon, dont il est devenu pr\u00e9sident en 2018. Auparavant, il a travaill\u00e9 pendant trois ans pour la Fondation du cancer de la r\u00e9gion d\u2019Ottawa et a copr\u00e9sid\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement de la f\u00eate des P\u00e8res <em>Do It For Dad<\/em> pendant deux ans.
